Focus and Scope
Alofon: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia is a scientific journal that publishes research articles, conceptual studies, and applied studies in the fields of language, literature, and their teaching. This journal is committed to presenting scholarly contributions that demonstrate novelty, theoretical relevance, and practical implications for the advancement of knowledge and educational practices, particularly in the context of Indonesian language and literature at both national and global levels.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Linguistics: covering studies in phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics.
- Literature: including studies of Indonesian literature, regional/local literature, as well as literary theory, literary criticism, children's literature, and popular literature.
- Indonesian Language and Literature Education: encompassing the development and innovation in language and literature education, such as curriculum development, teaching models and methods, instructional materials, technology-based learning media, assessment, literacy, language skills, and technology-enhanced learning.
